Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 2 months beyond your planned stay in Europe. If you don't have a passport apply for it now! 2. Once your file has been processed and a family has selected you, we will inform you and you must then ring the family to speak with the host and arrange an arrival date. 3. Hours of work will usually be 25 for an Au Pair, more for an Au Pair plus 4. Your pocket money (not wages ) range from between £40 for an Au Pair and negotiable for an Au Pair plus ( about £1 for each hour over 25 per week ) 5. In most country's the English language is quite acceptable with the exception of Germany which requires that you have a good command of the German language. Contracts usually range from 3 months ( only usually in summer) to 12 months. 6. We do charge an administration fee for our services which is £25 (English applicants only) we will work with you until you are placed .You are responsible for your own travel cost to and from your destintation country. 7. You must have some kind of child care experience. This may include baby-sitting, youth leader or maybe even looking after your own brother and sisters. 8. Disrespectful behaviour, excess use of alcohol, bad language or drug taking is sufficient cause for immediate dismissal from your family. 9.
